Julia Hutton

MA Printmaking, The Royal College of Art, London

Artist Statement:
My work focuses on questions of existence, using links between objects and memory in a continual search to express a truth of lived experience. I look to objects like hooks or handles to hold onto a reality of transient moments that can be easily lost as we are bombarded with distractions of living in the present. My enquiries have led me to consider how we try to preserve and capture these moments in time.
