Journey Journey is the most recent work from photographer Dominic Harris. This series of photographic landscapes, printed onto canvas, are all shot from trains in different cities and countries.
Journey 1 is from Rome to Florence, Italy. Journey 2 is from London to Brighton, UK. Journey 3 is from Manhattan to Long Island, USA. Journey 4 is from Calcutta to Cochin, India.
Each journey has a distinctive colour and feel, reflecting the environment it was taken in – from the very abstract Italian series to the colourful and evocative Indian pieces. Moving from place to place by train and using long exposure to explore time, the work is a memory of a journey and the local landscape.
