| Artist Statement: |
| The city is a thriving explosion
of power, movement, pattern, and life. It is an open book full of colour,
perspective and repetition. The buildings that grow within it, towering
above us all and dwarf everything around them hold an amazing sense
of respect. They stand so firm with enormous, seemingly endless facades
holding any number of tessellating patterns. They still manage to create
very quiet individual spaces, between one another. Dark voids that take
you away from the busy street only yards away. These streets run into
one another and eventually disappear into the distance. |
